How do I use SmellWell?
Put a pair in your boots whenever you're not wearing them, ideally straight after training or a match and overnight. They work in trainers, school shoes, kit bags and gloves too.
How long does a pair last?
SmellWell inserts last 6 months or more from when they're unsealed. They work harder in very wet or sweaty kit, so lifespan can vary. Leaving them where air can circulate refreshes them.
Can I wash them?
No. SmellWell works as a natural filter. If they feel a bit stale, lay them out in the open so air can reach them. If they've been in really wet boots and gone hard, squeeze them to break up the crystals and they'll absorb moisture again.
What's inside?
Natural salts and absorbents made from renewable raw materials, including Moso bamboo charcoal. There are no phthalates or biocides, and the contents and print colours are tested to REACH standards.
Do the designs smell different?
No. Every design has the same fresh scent, so pick the one you like best.
Will they fit kids' boots?
Yes. Each insert is about 8 × 12 cm and soft and malleable, so it shapes itself into smaller boots too.
